Clean puppy is not a happy puppy

When bath time is scented Africa runs into her crate and refuses to come out. She doesn't want treats and she doesn't want to be clean. I sure love a clean dog though. Here is Africa in the shower dreaming she was playing in the dirt outside instead.

You are not alone. You are not alone. My mom sometimes just waits for it to rain b/c she hates cleaning up my muddy body. Oh well..

  6. Don't worry Africa, it will be over soon. Well probably not soon enough, but sooner then you think. Go Sooners! Riley, where did that come from? Oh sorry, well at least you will smell good very soon!

  7. Dearest Africa, how big is your shower??? I didn't like getting a bath when the momma would put me in the kitchen sink, but then I discover the shower!! I wandered in one day when the momma didn't get the door shut all the way and I was hooked. I love to take a shower with the momma. Still hate the sink and still hate the rain, but love the shower!! Tell the momma to shower with you =)

  8. Our Dear Jack Russell thinks that poop is the new scent of the canines in our area so every time she passes one she tries to sneak a roll in it before mom screams at her to stop. Why she does this at least evey other day is beyond me as she hates bathes and bathes seem to follow within minutes of the great rolls. This vicios cycle seems to be an ongoing process in our home. I feel Africa's pain....

  9. LOL too cute. Could she look anymore miserable! My girls hate baths too, they stand there shivering and looking pitiful the whole time. On the other hand they love how clean they feel after. Go figure lol.

  13. Dozer doesnt mind the shower. He hates the rain, but the shower doesnt bother him. He stands still and takes like a big boy. Its a good thing, cause his butt barely fits in the shower. ;-)

  14. look at her just waiting for it to be over...I guess with that beautiful fur colour baths are inevitable... Bundy hates water - we have a fish pond in our garden, and when we have labradors visiting, constantly jumping into the pond ( scaring the poor fish..), he just looks at them in amazement...and wonder why on earth they jump in voluntarily...

  16. We feel for you girl. When we get really yucky dirty our dad fakes us out by taking us swimming in the lake. We're having fun frolicing in the water but we're really having a bath but just don't know it. What's with all of this cleanliness is next to Godliness stuff anyway.
