Irony

I have one human baby and one furry baby. The human baby proves to be quite tricky to raise. Africa has pretty much grown up into a very chill dog. For anyone interested in a good read to help you in the journey of parenthood, I would recommend Parenting with Love and Logic. I am loving it. However, it turns out you are never done being a parent. Irony is leaving a book about "love and logic" out for the dog to destroy. That was not very loving or logical was it? So the journey continues minus one book. I probably learned more from the consequences of leaving the book out than the actual content. Lesson learned Africa!

  3. Guess Africa can't put the blame on the baby this time:) Maybe there was a squirrel invasion.

  4. Oh no...too bad about the book. :( Alot of teachers use the love & logic approach and we are always encouraging parents to read the book or go to a workshop. :) It's great!

  11. Hi Kasha!

What a wonderful blog you have. It's quite different what I have used to be reading. It's not one of those "my dog is angel from the first day of its life, always". No, there sure is downhill in every dogs (or rather their owners) life. And it's wonderful to read about those things too.

But what a beautiful dog Africa is! I have never heard about the Boerboels before and that's amazing :) (there is one another 'new for me' breed which I found last year and it was gorgeus too. It was Kurdish Kangal Dog). I must find more information :) How much other wonderful breeds there might be which I don't know *gasp*

I just started my new blog and there's a huge "introduction" post if you like to read what I'm up to :)

    Best wishes
