Dog For Hire

I love FALL. Don't you? The leaves start to change and fall of the trees. The weather is cooler. It is my favorite season. That is, if I lived in a place that wasn't a desert. Here you will find a palm tree in our yard that does not change into pretty colors. It was green once, and now it is yellow. The leaves do not fall off of it into a fun pile to jump into, you have to cute the branches off. We like to make it even more different by adding a dog instead of a rake that will help remove the branches once cut. Do you have one of these employees? No?! Well she is for hire. I am pretty sure she will work for food.

Happy Fall!

  11. Hey K&A,
We already have enough "help" in the yard so, unfortunately, we won't ned Africa's services. However, if we ever have a palm frond drop in our yard you'll be the first place we call for assistance in removing it.

  13. The Herd is decidedly less helpful in yard work, though they are great at excavation skills.

  17. I've had three German shepherds that love to drag the palm fronds around the yard. They never help herd them into a pile for the garbage pick up.

  19. Hi Kasha!
What a cute dog! Thanks for coming over and saying hi! You asked where I got my burlap. I bought mine at Joanne's fabric store, but I know it is sold at Hobby Lobby and I heard Walmart too. Or I am sure you could order some online.

    Have a wonderful day!

    XOXO

  20. BOL!!! Africa, what a good helper you are!! We love Fall and it does get nice here but Mom says not as nice as where she grew up back on the east coast. Also, Fall means school so I don't really like it because Mom is too busy! I wish she could stay with me all day or at least half a day like she did last year. :(
