All these 'Halloween' ideas in bloggie-land...mmm? Here in SA its not much of a festivity, but I can't say my troop would enjoy the costumes (at least not on themselves)...those pups don't look happy at all! (Building up trust? I think not). Nice post again, Kasha! Lots of licks and muzzle wipes, MAXDOG IN SOUTH AFRICA
LOL too cute. A few years ago I got Fred (my ex-husbands basset) a hot dog outfit lol, he actually wore it for a while. Patachou my angel rottie was a skunk (the pics somehow got deleted sigh) Probably just bandanas for my girls since they hate clothing lol.
Mango has an actual costume. It was custom made by Dawn at My Pet Haven http://www.mypethaven.com She made a sweatshirt for Mango last year. You can see him modeling it at this blog http://mangosgreatadventures.blogspot.com/2009/05/dexter-day-humuliation.html
If you contact Dawn, tell her Mango the mastiff sent you.
You will be waiting a mighty long time before you will see me in a Halloween suit. Especially if they are like the pictures. We almost put a website url up with these pics on it today but then thought later would be better! Not at all now! Your boerboel is a most gorgeous dog! We want to learn more about her.
Beautifully titled post!!! Those are just the coolest costumes, but you can't see mine til Halloween, cause I tend to rip them apart by stepping on them wrong or something. Last year, I was Jeannie (of TV fame) and no sooner was I dressed than I stepped all over my harem pants and ripped them to shreds. So... thanks soooo much for sharing these great outfits! Hugs xo Sammie
girl you dont know how much I needed the laugh today.. you will never, never see the girls dressed up... they were bandanas occasionally as collars but thats it... I just dont get it!
The fourth photo up there came out great. It really look very much like that ugly but sweet character everyone knows. I hope after that photo was taken the dog's clothes had been removed. I thing those clothing store for dogs is located near the drugstore where Generic Viagra are sold.
OMD - those are hilarious, oops, we mean, just downright cruel. Look at that last babe - Wowzers!!!

ReplyDeleteI really feel so so sorry for the unhappy looking doggie in the first pic. He/ she is SO not amused..
ReplyDeleteWe have in our Herd contract - absolutely no costumes. Ever. Well, a bandana every now and then, but that's the line.
ReplyDeleteA couple of those guys look more likely to whip out a lightsabre and cut your head off than to bite you ...
ReplyDeleteHudson and his gang believe Doggie Halloween costumes are a form of dog abuse but mom loves them!!!
ReplyDeletehaha! Yes, no wonder! :)
ReplyDeletePoor doggies!

Any photos of any of our pups had better be quick because they won't be on for long. It's got to be quantum fast ;-)
