One of These Things is Not Like the Other

Does posting pictures of these two together ever get old? Perhaps, but not in this house. We love this duo. I know I have stated previously that these two critters are only 3 days apart. There are a lot of reasons these two make for such great friends, however, by comparison perhaps it is the differences that bring them together because they have very little in common. Let's take a look.

Africa                                                       The Boy
150 lbs                                                      35 lbs
Potty Trained                                            Still has accidents, but working on it
Sleeps all day on her bed                          Never sits still, even when asleep
Barks (speaks) only when visitors arrive  Never stops speaking even when asleep
Eats two meals a day                                 Seems to eat 15.5 meals a day
Has eaten all her stuffed animals               Has one "lovie" from the beginning that goes everywhere
Only kind of likes me                                 Loves me
Dreams of being sent to time- out              Does not like time-out

drools                                                          drools
loves to catch balls                                      loves to catch and throw balls
Loves the man of the house                        REALLY loves the man of the house
Is loved by us                                               Is really LOVED by us

So you see there are tons of differences, but none of that matters when there is so much love between a boy and a dog.

  1. Your boy is really handsome, they look so comfortable to each other specially your little ones :)

  2. Well, they do say opposites attract. We think they make a perfect pair. Your little boy is so grown up now and so handsome too.

  3. We can't believe how big the little biped is getting! Everyone deserves to grow up with a dog as a friend!

  4. Boy Africa is a big ol boy for sure. We are stopping by your blog to say "HI" and to let you know that we will get your website added to our blog. Sometimes it takes our peep a little while to get these things done as she has trouble with editing her blog sometimes and the person that normally helps her has got the bad sickies so our peep is going to have to learn how to do all this stuff real soon. 5. What a great post! For now we only have Jack so I don't yet know the love that comes from a human child but I know I will love and cherish the moments like this where they are best friends and can share so much. Super cute!
