Africa gets some bling!

....A new collar that is! We were pretty happy to find this collar with matching leash to make Africa's outfit complete. She should make her country proud. I will say it is nice that she is finally used to her collar and is almost perfect for walks. We still take treats along and reward her periodically for walking next to us or behind us, but never for pulling on us. She will still just stop walking and resist us briefly, but once we say "come" she is back on her feet.

  1. Cool collar.

Whenever my dogs get a new collar, they walk around like like proud peacocks. They hate to wear sweaters, clothes or bandanas, but collars are different.

The Poodles, on the other hand, love to wear anything and always walk around like peacocks.

  2. Nice collar! Charlie used to just lie down and refuse to go any farther. Africa's such a sweetie!

  3. Love the Collar! Very festive!

  4. I got Hudson his name in shiny, sparkling diamond bling to put around his collar and he looked pretty phat until he started itching it non stop and he developed an alergic reaction to the blink. My husband swears it was sheer self defense on his part to try to salvage his manhood and get rid of the ridiculous collar ( in his mind). I personally loved it. Africa's collar is sooo cute and keep up the great work on your blog.

  5. We love the colour of Africa's new collar! Very cool!

    lots of woofs
